An oil painting of sheep believed to be by listed artist Adolf D. Nowey (born 1835). This work features careful painterly renderings of sheep, as well as a pair of hens, in a barn lined with a bed of hay. The work is signed ‘A.D. Nowey’ to its lower left corner and is mounted in a molded gold tone frame with a plaque reading ‘A.D. Nowey’ to its lower edge. There is a hanging wire present to the verso.

- scratches, wear and cracks to frame, especially to corners.
