A mixed media painting, using ink, pencil, and watercolor, of birds on velvety fabric. This piece is rendered with fine marks and careful lines, and depicts a group of birds backed by trees and grasses, all within a slim foliate border. The work is presented unsigned, and has bundles of thread to the top edge, possibly to facilitate hanging.

- background fabric has staining and foxing throughout; ink mark in the lower right hand corner; felt border is stained throughout.
