Item Details
A large militaria collection of one U. S. Army soldiers’ history in photographs and papers during the WWII. Included are dog tags, field compass, a facsimile signed Harry Truman thank you letter, life insurance certificate, separation qualification record. Some of the photographs have writing, which reflect days in Guam, camp at Bushnell Florida, candid Guam villagers, groups of fellow soldiers, and palm trees. The decorated awards won by this individual are listed as Meritorious Unit Award, Victory Medal WWII, Asiatic-Pacific Theater Ribbons, and two bronze stars.
