Reproduction Prints After Artwork of Kentucky Derby Winners

A collection of reproduction prints after artwork of Kentucky Derby-Winning Horses. Included in this assortment of four are a Talio-Crome offset lithograph of Man O’ War, by R. H. Palenske, as well as a print of the 1957 winner Iron Liege, 1963’s Chateaugay, by C.W. Ernst, and a image of 1915’s Regret, marked ‘the only filly to win the derby,’ by R. H. Palenske. These prints are presented in wood frames, all but Regret under glass, with wires for hanging to the verso.

Condition

- fair; toning to all four prints; minor wear to frames; “Chateaugay” print is buckled; foxing to print of “Iron Liege.”
