An offset lithograph poster on paper after a painting by Jean Leon Gerome titled, Pygmalion and Galatea (circa 1890). This print depicts an artist working on a sculpture of a female figure, who suddenly comes to life. Printed to the lower center margin is the artist’s name and the title of the piece. The print is presented under glass in a gold tone metal frame with a metal hanging wire and tag to the verso.
Condition
- crack to lower right area of glass; small crack to lower left corner of glass; residue to upper left area of glass; minor scratches and stains throughout frame; orange sticker present on glass.
