Pair of F.W. Humphner Original 1932 Oil Landscapes on Canvas

A pair of original 1930s oil on canvas on landscape paintings by an artist named F.W. Humphner. The paintings both depict stunning forest landscapes painted in bright, Fauvist-style field of orange, yellow, teal, lavender, and gray paint. Both landscapes are pictured along the banks of flat bodies of water that reflect their bright color. The paintings are both signed and dated 1932 and 1939 in paint to the lower corners. Both pieces are presented in wooden frames with gold tone finish and hanging wires to the verso of each.
Condition
- extensive ripping and cracking across. Accretion covers the surfaces of both paintings, and both frames have significant wear and scratching across.
