An oil painting on canvas board of a waterfall, by an artist signing the work ‘Standish.’ This colorfully-rendered work depicts the wide falls dotted with stones and backed by leafy trees, a lightly cloudy sky to the background. The work is signed to the lower right and is signed to the verso along with a notation reading ‘Wantagh, December 1952.’ The painting is presented unframed and without hanging hardware.

- dirt throughout the image area; wear and paint loss to edges; paint is lifting off throughout upper right.
