A Japanese late Meiji Period (1868-1912) Satsuma style vase. This footed porcelain vase with a fluted body features finely raised and hand-painted images of haloed Buddhist arhats in gold and brown tones surrounded by moriage detailing in vibrant multi-colored hues with gilt details throughout. There are no visible maker’s marks.
