A drypoint etching on paper landscape scene by Malaysian born Dutch-Canadian painter and art educator Gijsbertus ‘Gus’ ‘Bert’ Kloezeman (Canadian, 1921-1987), ca. 1960s. Depicted is a small river or stream landscape with a small bridge crossing the water in the distance. Trees and foliage run up the left side of the composition with a small house structure and playground to the right. Telephone poles tower above the house with a tangle of wires running horizontally across the sky tethered to the pole. Signed in graphite to the lower right with the medium indication to the left. Presented under glass with a black and white double matting and housed in black painted wood frame with gilt sight.
