A pair of lithograph prints with intaglio embellishments of hunting motifs by listed artist Boris Riab (Russia, United States; 1898–1975). Depicted is a flock of Gray Partridge taking off into the sky. In the second, a group of men on horseback and a beagle run across a field during a fox hunt. Signed by the artist in graphite to the lower right corner. Presented as a loose work without a frame or mat.

Boris Riab studied at several art schools in Moscow until his family fled Russia after the Bolshevik Party gained power. In 1927, he changed his last name from Riabouchinsky to Riab and settled in France. Riab mostly painted watercolors of hunting dog portraits and wild fowl, but he also printed limited edition engravings of several studies.

- to fair; wear to edges of paper; tear to lower margin of Gray Partridge piece; heavy creasing to bottom margin of fox hunt; billow to paper; toning to paper.
