Porcelain Tableware Including Chinese Export

Item Details

A collection of antique porcelain tableware including Chinese Export circa late 18th c. It features a Chinese Export tea set including a teapot with a twisted handle and fitted lid with a round finial, helmet jug and sucrier with twisted side handles. Each piece is decorated with floral sprigs trimmed in red scalloped borders and floral design medallions to the sides. Also included are seven assorted tea bowls decorated in various floral motifs and color schemes. The pieces have no discernible maker’s marks as was typical for the wares and the period.

Condition

- one teacup and two small bowls previously repaired; some finish wear noted.
