Antique Mahogany Queen Anne Style Handkerchief Table with Chairs

An antique Queen Anne style dinette set. This set includes a mahogany handkerchief table with square top including tooled leather inset center and four triangular, hinged extension panels which flip to extend and use the lower frame on an offset for support. The table top overhangs aprons which include a drawer with decorative escutcheon, dovetail joinery and green velvet lining. The table includes gilded accents and rises up on turned, fluted and tapering legs ending in brass cap feet. The set includes four side chairs with rounded shoulders, fiddle splats including figured veneers set into a lower support rail shoe. The chairs include slip seats with a diamond upholstery and cabriole front legs with carved shell knees and pad feet.
