A set of four nineteenth century lithographic playbills from Theatre Royal Covent Garden, printed on laid paper. Each playbill is stored against backing paper within a plastic sleeve. The collection includes a playbill for the July 17, 1821, production of William Shakespeare’s King Henry IV, Part II, a playbill for the June 4, 1819, production of Heart of Mid-Lothian adapted from Sir Walter Scott’s novel of the same name, a playbill for the February 5, 1821, production of Barry Cornwall’s Mirandola and a playbill for the April 4, 1823, production of Julian.
