Taylor Stormoguide Barometer and Nautical Brass Clock
Item Details
A brass nautical clock and a vintage barometer. The clock is round, housed in a brass frame, with Roman numerals and a star-chart design on the dial. On its face, it is marked ‘AM Makers to the Admiralty/Mermaid Trademark’; personal engraving on the side of the clock reads ‘Only Happy Hours for You/Jan Dick Nancie Tom/10-8-06.’ The clock’s underside reads ‘Case India.’ The vintage barometer is housed in a cherry-stained round wood frame, which rests on a pair of round brass feet. It is marked, in part, ‘Taylor Stormoguide/Copyrights 1927/Taylor Instruments Companies.’ Neither piece has been tested.
