An oil painting on canvas after George Stubbs’ (1724-1806) painting Gimcrack. This work depicts a man in a yellowish suit holding the reigns of a white horse, all against a leafy green background. The original work places the figures before a stone building. The painting is presented, unsigned, in a gold tone frame and has a wire to its verso along with a label noting the provenance of the painting.

- a few nicks and light edge wear to frame.
