Offset Lithograph Prints on Paper Reproducing Sketches by da Vinci, "The Kiss" by Klimt, and "Midsummer Eve" by Hughes
Item Details
A grouping of three offset lithograph prints on paper reproducing iconic works of art. The sketches by Italian Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) feature a woman’s serene face and a hand study, under two window mats. The Kiss by Austrian Symbolist painter Gustav Klimt (1862–1918) depicts a man and a woman locked in an embrace, presented here under decoratively cut mats. Midsummer Eve by English Royal Watercolor Society painter Edward Robert Hughes (1851–1914) depicts a woman bending down to inspect a circle of fairies in a meadow at dusk, presented under whimsically cut mats. Each print is mounted under protective glass, in wood frames with sawtooth hangers to the versos.
