Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a pastoral landscape on canvas, attributed to an artist named B.C. Wilde. This composition is rendered in a rich palette and depicts a harvest scene, with a pair of figures having a conversation toward one side. This work is signed what reads ‘Wilde 78’ to one corner, and includes a label to the front of the frame bearing the text ‘B.C. Wilde 1878.’ This painting is mounted in a molded gold tone frame with a wire to its verso, an illegible title written to the canvas.
