First Trade Edition "Doctor Martino and Other Stories" and Third Printing "Light in August" by William Faulkner

A pair of early edition works of fiction by William Faulkner. The selection includes a first trade edition of Doctor Martino and Other Stories, published by Harrison Smith and Robert Haas, Inc., in 1934. The edition is clothbound in blue, with gilded tooling. Also included is a clothbound third-printing of Light in August, published by the Quinn & Boden Company in 1932. The book is clothbound in tan, with blue tooling. Neither includes a dust jacket.
Condition
- to fair; there is foxing; color fading; fraying; page edges worn; pages 223 through 301 of Doctor Martino have holes; dust jackets are not included.
