Vanity Fair Lithograph "Sanitas"
Item Details
A Vanity Fair lithograph on paper titled Sanitas. Published in September of 1831 in the famous magazine by Vincent Brooks Day & Son Lithography, the print depicts Hugh Fortescue (1818-1905), a British liberal party politician seated on a brown couch and surrounded by newspapers. Mounted under a double layer of blue and brown matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes and a antique shop decal are present to the verso.

- edge wear to frame; slight toning to paper; slightly dusty.
