A 1976 colored drawing on paper by Dr. W.A. Moline. Titled Crystal Island, Pre-Expo ’74 this depicts the old Crystal Laundry and Water Works and other warehouses on a rocky bank above rushing water. Crystal Island was the location of the world’s fair ‘Expo ’74’ in Spokane, Washington, and was later renamed Canada Island after the Canadian Pavilion built there. This is signed and dated in the bottom right, and presented with an off-white mat, under glass in a green and gold tone painted wooden frame, with a sawtooth bracket attached on verso.
