Vintage Cedar Trinket Chest

Item Details

A vintage cedar trinket chest. This rectangular top trinket chest features a lid top with gold tone decorative hardware and front lock piece opening to an interior storage space. The exterior panels feature bail handles to two sides and decorative hardware to the front. This piece rests on four curved feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- inscription to interior; small marks, cracks, loose pieces, and musty smell; lid near the back hinges is coming apart; tarnish throughout the gold tone pieces; does not sit flat due to break in one foot; has been taped closed previously, tape residue.
