A limited edition offset lithograph on paper after an illustration by listed American artist Daniel A. Moore (20th-century). The piece, titled The Tradition Continues, depicts University of Alabama Crimson Tide football players holding head coach Gene Stallings aloft, in celebration of their 1992 Sugar Bowl win against the University of Miami Hurricanes. The work is titled to the lower center, with additional notations of ‘1992 National Champions’ and ‘1993 USF&G Sugar Bowl – Alabama 34 – Miami 13’ printed to the lower margin. The print is signed in graphite to the lower right, adjacent to an in-plate signature. It is additionally numbered to the lower left as 15,361 out of an edition of 19,920. It is double matted in light gray and crimson above an embossed gold-tone seal that reads ‘USF&G Sugar Bowl, Consensus National Champions, 1992’ (sic). The print is presented under acrylic glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
