A signed limited edition offset lithograph on paper after an original painting by contemporary Texan genre artist G. (Gerald Harvey Jones) Harvey (1933-), titled Rainy Day on Central Park South from the artist’s City Series. The print depicts figures and horse-drawn carriages walking down a rainy cobbled street illuminated with glowing windows and streetlights. The print is signed in-plate to the lower left and is signed and numbered 342/1950 in black ink to the lower corners. It is double-matted in cream and gray and is presented behind glass in a wooden frame with cast surface embellishments, gold tone finish, and a hanging wire. A certificate of authenticity from Somerset House Publishing, Inc. is housed in a pocket to the piece’s verso.
