Hand-Painted Decorative Plate
Item Details
A hand-painted decorative plate, manufactured by Hutschenreuther Porcelain and painted by Mrs. Claire Sibley. This plate, decorated with pink magnolia-like flowers, has a gold tone band around the perimeter and has a marking that reads ‘Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria’ to its underside. The item is presented with a note of provenance, asserting that it was painted by Mrs. Sibley for the original owner’s third birthday in 1933, along with a blue ribbon from the 2001 Kentucky State Fair, ‘Antiques’ competition, and a plate hanger for display.
