Late 19th Century Betjemann's Patent Tantalus

A late 19th century Betjemann’s Patent tantalus. This tantalus features a molded scrolled handle, a rectangular shape, and a graduated base with protective cloth to the underside. Three glass decanters with diamond designs and spherical crystal stoppers are stored in the carrier. The tantalus is marked ’Betjemann’s Patent London’ to one side.

Condition

- to Fair; heavy discoloration and tarnish to brass; stains to underside; carrier is locked in position, may be adjusted with a screwdriver.
