Item Details
An oil painting on canvas. This pastoral landscape scene depicts a river in which cows wade and that is crossed by an arched stone bridge and lined on either side with large trees. It is unsigned and presented in a gilt wood frame that is wired to the verso for hanging.
Condition
- to Fair; minor paint loss at the top of the bridge; minor craquelure throughout; small dots from white wall paint splatter; frame has surface wear including scrapes, flaking, and tonal variation.
