Item Details
An oil painting on board by listed Maryland artist Carol Lee Thompson (born 1958). The piece depicts a quiet forest landscape with a tree-lined stream to the center, rendered in a palette of green, brown and blue hues. The work is signed in red paint to the lower left, with an additional signature in black ink to the board verso. It is presented without glass in a beveled gold tone wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- wear, scratching and nicks to frame with areas of chipping to finish; no backing paper present.
