Item Details
An offset lithograph on canvas after artist Joseph Marius Avy, titled The Swans. This print depicts two women dressed in ruffled, Victorian-era dresses resting near a water fountain, one of which extends their hand to feed an inquisitive swan. The print is treated with a layer of clear varnish to give a painted appearance. To the lower right corner of the composition is an in plate signature. The print is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded bead and foliate patterning to the surface, with hanging wire to the verso.

- several minor chips to frame; small stains to upper and lower center; print slightly faded.
