Ceramic Tableware Including Delft

Item Details

A selection of ceramic tableware including a pitcher, a tobacco jar, a ladle, and a pair of teapots. The hand-painted Delft tobacco jar depicts a Colonial stockade scene and reads ‘van Rossem’s Toeback Anno 1750.’ The Delft pitcher features a floral design in a palette of red, blue, green, and yellow with a molded twisting handle. Both pieces were made in Holland and are marked ‘Delft’ to the underside. The Spode teapots feature blue transferware designs of European countrysides. They were made in England and are marked ‘Spode’ to the underside. The ladle depicts blue sailing ships and is marked ‘NPMC Nippon’ to the underside.

Condition

- tarnish spots to metal; scuffs and marks to undersides; slight stains to inside of pitcher; stains to ladle.
