Lucy Alexander Serigraph with Watercolor Painting "San Francisco"

A watercolor painting on paper with serigraph linework titled San Fransisco by artist Lucy Alexander. This piece depicts a street scene from the titular city featuring a crowded streetcar and the Transamerica Pyramid building behind it. The straight, printed lines of the architecture have been been colored in with watercolor by hand and contrast with the loosely colored figures in the car and on the street. It is signed and dated 1985 to the lower left corner of the piece and the lower right on the mat, as well as titled to the lower left on the mat. The piece is presented behind a double mat and glass in a black frame with a sawtooth bracket for hanging.
Condition
- mats have some surface wear and toning; frame has minor surface wear; small dents; debris under glass.
