Item Details
A piece of floral crewelwork embroidery stitched by a Laurie Forshey Taw in 1975. This piece depicts a white and blue vase full of a variety of colorful, stylized flowers. This bouquet is stitched with wool yarns on a linen ground. It is signed and dated to the lower right corner of the verso and presented in a wood frame with wire for hanging.
Condition
- some fading to the yarn and dust on the surface; small stains and discoloration to ground fabric; tears in paper backing.
