A vintage power-loomed floral area rug. This wool rug features a Chinese/Persian-inspired design in cream, with detail in a palette of terracotta, gray, saffron, burgundy, sage, and black. Its field is filled with palmettes, flowers, leaves, and vines over cream. The primary border features a herati-inspired design of floral elements, large leaves, and quatrefoil medallions over cream. Selvedges are bound; ends finish with wool fringe. A label on the reverse is faded and unreadable.
