An oil painting on canvas of a figure study. This expressive painting depicts a nude, female figure posed laying upside down on a blue recliner. She presses both legs together and arches her stomach forward, stretching one arm across the seat. To the background is a silhouetted figure standing against a red wall. Found to the lower left corner of the composition is an illegible artist signature, which appears to be dated 1990. The canvas is wrapped over a wooden stretcher.

- bubbled canvas; canvas is somewhat loose; light wear to edges and corners; canvas not entirely stretched to lower leg of verso.
