A hand woven semi-antique Persian Heriz area rug. The rug features a central black hexagonal medallion with blue, red and tan designs on a light red background. There are black and cream colored spandrels with floral designs. This is framed with a three part compound border with the central primary band having multi colored floral designs on a white background, flanked by a dark band on the inside and a light red band on the outside. The rug is finished with a short natural warp fringe.
