A hand-knotted and carved Chinese area rug. This plush wool rug features a floral cluster in the upper-right and lower-left corners of an azure field. Framing the field is a floral border, with an azure outer guard strip. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing with long ivory wool warp fringe.
