Item Details
An original 1978 oil painting on academy board by an artist named Florence Pardun. The painting depicts a busy shipyard painted in thick strokes of brightly-colored paint. Wooden ships are tied up along broad docks lined with rickety boathouses. Figures mill about the scene, working on various boats. The painting is signed and dated in blue to the lower right. It is presented in a wide wooden frame with brown and gold tone finishes, white linen lining, and a hanging wire attached to the verso.
Condition
- to fair. Craquelure across painting’s surface, particularly to lower right corner. Foxing and discoloration to linen lining. Light scratching across frame.
