Hand Tufted Silk Sino Persian Tabriz Area Rug

A hand tufted silk and wool Sino-Persian Tabriz rug. The rug has a symmetric design with larger floral shapes along the center lines surrounded by vining floral Arabesques over the entire body on a light cream ground. The rug is framed with a five band compound border with a primary band with the same light cream background flanked by light green and taupe bands on each side. It is finished on all four sides with no exposed fringe. The rug is backed with a heavy cloth backing.
