An original 20th century portrait of Harry Gadbury by an unknown artist. This thoughtful portrait with vibrant, multicolored undertones is rendered in crayon on off-white paper and signed illegibly (possibly W.D. Frank) to the lower right corner. The piece is presented under acrylic in a wood and gesso gilded frame.

Harry Lee Gadbury is an American visual artist, born in Ohio in 1890. He is known for his paintings as well as being an etcher, teacher and illustrator.

Condition

Several scratches in gold paint on frame, wood itself not damaged
