Hand-Knotted Pak-Kazak Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Pak-Kazak runner. This Pakistani-made wool rug is rendered in a palette of brick red, gray, cerulean, cream, and black. It features an infinity pattern beginning with five starburst medallions arranged vertically over a bright blue field. Each medallion encloses a gul with out-pointing arrows amid abstract motifs. Framing the field are two borders, including a major border featuring alternating boxed florets and geometric, Shirvan-style bracket motifs.
