A hand-knotted Persian Kerman wool area rug. This area rug features a crimson field with a central floral medallion showing flowering sprays, along with more floral motifs to the spandrels. This rug also shows colors in ivory, blues, tan, and black, bordered in a herati pattern along with barber pole and floral patterned guard borders. The rug is finished with overcast edges and a short natural warp ivory fringe, marked with a tag that reads, ‘Made in Iran’.
