A hand-knotted Persian Kerman wool area rug.This rug features a solid beige lozenge shaped field with with a central medallion filled with scrolled motifs, showing colors of gold, burgundy, indigo, and sky blues. This rug also shows medallions to the spandrels, bordered in a stylized samovar pattern, and finished with overcast edges, with a natural warp ivory fringe. Marked with a tag that reads, ‘Made in Iran’.
