Antique Late Classical Drop-Leaf Table in Cherry and Mahogany

Item Details

An antique late Classical drop-leaf table in cherry and mahogany, circa second quarter of the 19th century. The frame features a rectangular top flanked by a pair of hinged leaves above a straight apron. It rises on four stationary and two swing legs, each of which is embellished with ring turnings and acanthus carvings. The legs end in brass casters.
