A lithograph titled Balloons by extremely well-listed American kinetic sculptor Alexander Calder (1898-1976). This print depicts a group of abstracted black balloons with black strings connected by red, yellow, and blue geometric shapes. The lithograph is signed in graphite by Calder to the lower right corner and editioned ‘E.A.’ (épreuve d’artiste or artist’s proof) to the lower left corner. The print is housed in white mat board with a blue liner and a gold tone frame. To the verso of the frame is a Certificate of Authenticity from California Auction Services.

Condition

- blemishes and scratches to frame; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly.
