Thai and Chinese Decorative Porcelain Plates

Item Details

A collection of six Thai and Chinese decorative porcelain plates. It includes three plates marked ‘Imperial Jingdezhen Porcelain’ two of which feature a woman in a dream-like setting and one depicting a maid attending an elegantly dressed woman. Three plates marked ‘Royal Porcelain Kindom of Thailand’ each depicts a man and woman in a scene from a folk tale. Each of the six plates has extensive writing to the underside in Asian characters. Several documents in Chinese are included.
