An offset lithographic reproduction after an original painting South Street, New York in 1800 by English maritime artist John Stobart (born 1929). This print depicts a historical recreation of South Street in New York as it would have appeared in 1800. A cobbled street is partially lit by lamp light and several figures engaged in various activity are in the street. Tall ships are moored along the pier opposite busy shops. This print is signed in plate and presented in black and gray matting, behind glass, and in a dark stained wood frame. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.
