An oil painting on canvas of a deer by P.J. Burns. This painting depicts a deer against a backdrop of snow covered mountains. The artist has used a thick application of paint in select areas to enhance the depth of the dramatically lit landscape. The painting is signed in white to the lower right and presented in a dark stained wood frame. The verso of this piece is wired to hang.
Condition
- there is significant accretion due to age. The frame has several scratches and dents and the stain has areas of craquelure.
