Vintage Handmade "Log Cabin" and "Pinwheel Star " Quilt Tops
Item Details
A pair of vintage hand pieced quilt tops. Included is a Log Cabin pattern quilt constructed from fabric strips in a variety of solids and patterns pieced around a central black square. The quilt features a contrasting palette of neutrals with blue and red accents. The resulting composition creates a illusory three-dimensional effect. The top is stitched to a cotton backing. Also included is a ‘Pinwheel Star’ pattern quilt. The quilt features blocks made from a wide variety of patterned fabrics in a palette of primarily pink and blue with red, green, and yellow accents.
