M.I. Hummel "Chick Girl" and "Max & Moritz" Figurines
Item Details
A pairing of M.I. Hummel Chick Girl and Max & Moritz figurines. The 1984 Chick Girl figurine depicts a young girl stooping down with a basket of chicks in tones of brown, yellow and burnt orange. The figurine is marked with an embossed ‘57 2/0 1984’ to the base. The Max & Moritz figurine is circa 1990 and showcases two boys, arm in arm, wearing traditional lederhosen with orange scarfs. The figurine has an embossed ‘123’ and ‘1939’ mark to base with artist initials and ‘90’. Both pieces additionally bear the blue Goebel TMK-6 factory hallmark and come housed in original Goebel boxes.
