An oil painting on canvas board of a Japanese-inspired composition by artist M. Graff. This painting depicts a woman posed in profile, wearing a traditional, foliate kimono with her hair tied up. She raises an open hand fan with one arm, which obscures her face. The woman stands against a flat, olive green background with a crimson and yellow yin-yang symbol seen to the top right corner. To the lower right corner of the composition is an artist signature, dated 1984. The painting is presented in a gold tone and black wooden frame.
