A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz rug runner. The wool constructed rug features an elongated field with a series of three palmette style medallions in muted jewel tones. The medallions are flanked by curvilinear lines and are set atop a striped ground. A burgundy colored border with lobed flower designs surrounds the field. The piece displays short overcast edges and cotton warp fringe. Rug is unmarked.
